KORN - Biography

Jonathan Houseman Davis, (born January 18, 1971) is the lead vocalist for the multiplatinum band Korn. He was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, where he lived with his father and stepmother.
As well as being Korn's lead singer, he has also recorded and played drums, guitar, and bagpipes in many of Korns albums. Davis took up the bagpipes while a student at Highland High School in Bakersfield, which featured a pipe band.[1] Davis was ranked 16th on Hit Paraders list of "Heavy Metal's All-Time Top 100 Vocalists"

James Christian 'Munky' Shaffer (born June 6, 1970 in Rosedale, California) is the guitarist for the nu metal band Korn. He also performed live backing vocals. His nickname, 'Munky', is apparently a reference to the fact that his feet, when spread, resembles monkey's feet (this was revealed in the multi-platinum video "Who Then Now?"). His bandmate Reginald 'Fieldy' Arvizu has a similar nickname, also based on his physical appearance to the cartoon character Garfield the cat.
He does have musical activities outside of Korn, though: he is the founder of Emotional Syphon Recordings, who have signed acts like Monster In The Machine and Droid. Droid was also featured on the 2007 Family Values Tour.

Reginald "Fieldy/Reggie" Arvizu (born November 2, 1969 in Bakersfield, California) is the bass guitar player for the band Korn.

Ray Luzier (born 1970 in Pennsylvania) is an American rock drummer. He was the drummer for Army of Anyone, a rock band composed of Filter frontman Richard Patrick and brothers Dean DeLeo and Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots. On November 1, 2007, Ray joined Korn as touring drummer, and in April 2009 he was named a full-time member of the band
